📍PLEASANT GROVE SKATEPARK!!!

Been keeping this one on the down low but we are sooo stoked to finally announce that the Cook Family Park - skatepark & pump track - in Pleasant Grove will have a soft opening on Saturday, March 22, at 2:00 p.m.

The skatepark and pump track are finished and ready for use after the 22nd, but parts of the park are still under construction.

Features include:
- 3' ft / 4' ft Mini Ramp
- 5' ft Bowl 6' ft extension w/ pool coping
- Ledges, ledges and more ledges
- Double set 4 stair
- Downrails
- Flat bars
- Euro gap
- Manual pads
- Round and square rails
- Slappy curbs
- Hips
And many more... ledges. Basically if you're a ledge and techy skater you'll love this park.

Everything is fairly mellow and it's not a massive park but they packed in a lot. Be ready for it to be pretty packed for the first while and lots and lots of tots. It's very close to a kids playground but there's a fence to protect the kiddos.

There will be lots of opportunity to teach skatepark etiquette. ❤️

Important notes for the skatepark and pump track:

- Electric scooters and bikes are not allowed.
- The park is under 24-hour surveillance.

The official Grand Opening Festival and Ribbon Cutting will take place in early June. Until then, there may be temporary closures for construction.

🚨XGames Salt Lake City 2025 Details!🚨

For the first time ever, Salt Lake City will host X Games Salt Lake City 2025 @xgames from June 27–29 at the Utah State Fairpark and Event Center @utahstatefair . This highly anticipated event will feature Moto X, BMX, and skateboarding competitions, bringing together over 100 elite action sports athletes competing for $1 million in prize money.

As part of the X Games’ 30th-anniversary celebration, Salt Lake City will be the second stop in the 2025 summer series, following Osaka (June 20–22) and preceding Sacramento (August 22–24). The event will be broadcast on ESPN and ABC, offering fans an unparalleled experience both in-person and on-screen.

Fun note: Ryan Sheckler @shecks will make his return to competition.

While currently a one-year agreement, discussions are ongoing to make Salt Lake City a regular host location and a potential future hub for the upcoming X Games League expansion in 2026.
